Black Screen?

Whenever I make a character the entire screen is black and I can't see anything. My HUD and all skills and stats still show up. When I right click I can see that I am in the area the game describes (Like the tutorial) but... Yeah.

Have you tried fully restarting your computer and trying again? Sometimes this can happen on most games when dreamseeker crashes in the background. If that fixes it, it might just be that. Otherwise, it might be a Boundless Bug.

Yep, restarted and the screen is still black for me.

Just downloaded the host files and tried testing on a private server, completely black there too.

What race, anger and size type, and skin type did you choose? I tested on the server that's always with nobody on it, and entered the game just fine as a compos mentis, small, white human.

I've tried Angel Small Compos Mentis. Human Small Compos Mentis. Human Large Bloodlust, etc. I don't think it's an issue relating to my build.

That's very odd then. I haven't encountered such a problem. I'm not using the newest byond version however, so if you want to try it, http://www.byond.com/download/build/ this is a link to every version of byond. perhaps try one 2 or 3 updates earlier than the one you're currently using. Although the current version is very bug-ridden anyway. It might just be b est to wait for the next update.

uhhh probably will still be quite a bit of bugs. I've only got one and a half maps to do and one skill. Probably take a week or two (maybe 10 hrs of work altogether, but i've got schoolwork), but I'll be able to fix them once reported pretty easily. Tried to reproduce this bug and I couldn't really find out whats wrong, I'll continue to look into it.
